Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist, Special Education
Location: Rosemount, MN
Duration: Next School Year
Hours: Full-Time, 8 hours per day (7:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday)
Assignment Location: Various programs throughout Dakota County, MN serving student in Students with Unique Needs (SUN) Program and Transitional Ed Service Alternative (TESA) Program
Caseload/Details:
- K-12 students in special education
Primary Duties:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Provide direct therapy services to K-12 students in special education
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs
- Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and attend IEP meetings
- Monitor and document student progress
- Provide consultation and support to staff regarding speech and language development
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Minnesota license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with K-12 students in special education preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
